In the past year, it has become increasingly apparent that a reset is needed in rallying support for the Jamieson family. Larry had a heart attack in May 2025 and a stent was placed in October 2025. Then, in February 2026, Lisa was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer (pNET). Surgery is coming this spring.
Carly is Larry and Lisa’s third daughter who lives at home with them. She is a delightful young woman born in 1998 who has Angelman Syndrome. She and her family rely on the amazing help and companionship of personal care support staff and some nearby family. Nonetheless, her significant daily needs stretch her parents’ time, energy, finances and personal health.
This support platform is being built to streamline communications, especially prayer requests, for the Jamiesons. Besides that, some are asking how they can help in practical ways. So the page offers a centralized hub for lending a hand, sending meals, or making donations. It is not meant to be a significant or long-term fundraising campaign but simply a mechanism for those who feel led to help us stay on track with yard/household chores or assist with extra financial needs. Whatever your manner of support may be, it makes a real difference, particularly in seasons when the "lifting" is heavier.
