We are reaching out to share some important news about our sweet Lincoln. He was diagnosed with cancer last week. He had a  few days of worsening headaches and vomiting. Over the course of 3 days he went to his pediatrician and the CHOA emergency room twice. In the 2nd ER visit he got a head scan that revealed a brain tumor which was causing pressure to build up in his head. Some surgical procedures were done to relieve the pressure and so now Linc feels much better thank God.
But now we have to move forward with treating the cancer.  He has a type of germ cell cancer that fortunately  is usually very responsive to treatment. Treatment is rough though and will require several hospitalizations. There will be curveballs. It's impossible to anticipate what needs we may have. This will be a long and difficult road but we are prepared to do anything to get him through this.
There has been a tremendous outpouring of support from so many directions and I cannot express how much this has meant to us. We are so lucky to be surrounded by truly amazing people.
We are setting this page up at the suggestion of a friend. Support Now is apparently a way to put a lot of things in one place including updates about Lincoln. We have had a lot of people wanting to help out in a variety of ways so here you can coordinate meals, coordinate helping with the kids, donate resources, etc.
Please share this or direct people to it who want to help.
  1. Choose from Support Registry options
  2. 'Share' to Spread the Word to family and friends
  3. 'Follow' Updates to stay informed

Please don't be afraid to approach us about what is going on. Feel free to call or text. This is difficult to talk about but the focus now is on getting Lincoln cured. We especially want to be able to help educate any of his friends or people at school about what is going on so that they understand and can know how to support him.
Mr. Rogers famously said to "look for the helpers" in times of catastrophe. Thank you to all of the many helpers out there that are rallying for Lincoln.
