In Support of Leon the cat
Hello to all our dear family and friends.
On Saturday, June 27th, we found our cat, Leon, in our backyard crying in pain. It seemed that Leon had been attacked by a coyote or some sort of animal. He had cuts on his legs, his claws were bloody, and he had a deep wound on his ankle. After taking him to the vet, we learned that he has a fractured pelvis and a dislocated hip. While his pelvis and cuts will heal, he needs surgery called FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) to help his leg move without pain in the near future. The price of this surgery is estimated to be around $4750-$5750 in total. We have spent over $800 on Leon's emergency visit and pain medications alone, but Leon needs to have this surgery soon. My mom and I are asking for any help you may be able to provide to put toward Leon's medical costs. All help is immensely appreciated in these hard times, no matter how small any donation is.
