Leon the cat
Hello all,
My apologies for the lack of updates. I want to reemphasize an enormous THANK YOU to everyone who helped us through this difficult time. We took Leon to the vet to be X-rayed, and the findings are as follows: 1) His pelvis has not shifted since his last X-ray, indicating that his fracture has fused and his pelvis has stabilized, and 2) His hip joint has healed well, and the surgery was a success! Leon has been able to get around with no problems. His hip is always going to be weaker on his left side, and we have noticed how Leon moves to avoid putting too much strain on his hip. We will be keeping Leon inside to prevent him from getting injured again. Leon has been very happy to socialize with his siblings again, and the photo attached is Leon with his brother, Ebu!
