SupportNow reviews, straight from the moment they happened
Every rating here was left inside SupportNow by a real person, right after they gave, followed a page, posted an update, or requested a payout. Nothing comes from a survey or a sales call. The numbers update through the day.

Every star counts
All time1,591 people rated 3 stars or below. Their comments shaped the two explainers further down.
Collected in the moment, counted in full, published by hand
Collected in the moment
After someone gives, follows a page, signs up to help, posts an update, or requests a payout, SupportNow asks one question: rate your experience. One tap saves the stars, and a comment is optional.
Counted in full
Every star, 1 through 5, is in the average, the daily chart, and the split above. Nothing is filtered out of the numbers, and they refresh every 10 minutes.
Published by hand
A person reads every written comment. We publish the ones about SupportNow, including critical ones, with the reviewer's first name. We leave out notes meant for a family, anything with personal details, and spam.
Four things that come up again and again
We grouped the published reviews by what they talk about. Each card shows how many mention it and the newest few that do.
It was easy, on a hard day
The word that comes up more than any other is "easy". People arrive stressed, distracted, and often on a phone, and they finish anyway.

The family receives the whole gift
Supporters notice that when they add a RoundUp, the family receives 100% of what they meant to give.

More than money, in one place
Meals, to-dos, volunteers, and updates sit beside the fundraiser, so one link answers "how can I help?"

A real person helps
Families name the people who picked up the phone, walked them through setup, and stayed in touch.

Two things that trip people up, explained plainly
Most lower ratings come down to the same two moments. Here is what people say, what is actually happening, and what to do.
The RoundUp at checkout
What is actually happening
When you give, SupportNow suggests a RoundUp: a small, optional amount added on top of your gift. It covers the card processing fee and it keeps the meals calendar, the to-do list, updates, and a support team free for the family. That is why it is larger than the 2.7% card fee alone, and why the family receives 100% of your intended gift when you add one.
What to do
- Before you press Pay Now, the RoundUp is listed as its own line with its dollar amount. Tap What is this? beside it to read why it is there, and to remove it. Larger gifts can reduce it instead.
- If you remove it, your gift still goes through. A 2.7% processing fee comes out of that one gift, and the family is never charged a platform fee.
- The family sees your gift in full either way. The RoundUp is between you and SupportNow.
We read every one of these comments, and this step keeps changing because of them.
How the RoundUp worksGetting the money to the family
What is actually happening
Gifts are held by Stripe until the family requests a payout. Before the first payout, Stripe verifies the person receiving the money, which is what keeps a Support Page from being hijacked. It is also the step that can feel like paperwork at the worst possible time.
What to expect
- Request a payout any time from your dashboard. A standard payout is sent within 1 business day, and your bank usually posts it 1 to 3 business days after that.
- The first 2 payouts each month are free. Extra payouts in the same month carry a 2% fee, and an expedited payout, sent within a business hour, carries 2%.
- Stuck on verification? Call, text, or chat and a person will walk you through it.

Questions people ask before they trust a review page
Yes. SupportNow is run by SupportFamiliesNow, Inc., founded in 2021, and has been covered by Inc., Forbes, and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Card payments are processed by Stripe, the same processor behind millions of businesses, and SupportNow never sees or stores your card number.
Every rating on this page was left inside SupportNow by a real person right after they gave, followed a page, posted an update, or requested a payout. The numbers above include all of them, including the low ones, and refresh through the day. Over the past year, families kept 99.2% of every intended gift, measured across 200,000+ gifts.
Want to check a specific Support Page? Look for the organizer's name, recent updates, and the people who have already given. If anything looks off, email [email protected] and a person will look into it.
Star ratings come from a one-tap prompt that appears right after an action inside SupportNow, with an optional comment. Longer platform reviews come from the review form we send families and advocates after they have used SupportNow for a while. Nobody is paid or rewarded for a review.
The numbers never leave anything out: every star, 1 through 5, is in the average, the daily chart, and the star split.
Written reviews are published by hand. We publish comments that are about SupportNow, including critical ones, and we leave out notes meant for a family, anything with personal details, and spam. The two things people most often find confusing are answered above rather than hidden.
At checkout, a supporter can add a RoundUp, a small optional amount on top of their gift. It covers the card processing fee and keeps every tool on the page free, so the family receives 100% of the intended gift. If a supporter skips it, a 2.7% processing fee comes out of that one gift. There is no platform fee, subscription, or paid tier for families.
SupportNow also has reviews on Trustpilot, and you can read press coverage on our press page. If you have used SupportNow, you will see "Rate your experience" after your next gift, update, or payout, and we would love to hear from you.
