In September, just days after Heiko and I were married, I was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma after cancer was found in a lymph node in my neck. I am now preparing to begin oncology care and learn what treatment will look like in the months ahead.

The diagnosis has changed a lot very quickly. My rheumatoid arthritis and migraine treatments have been paused while my doctors coordinate my care, and plans for work, school, and our future move to Germany have all had to take a back seat for now. At the same time, everyday life continues: groceries, household expenses, medical appointments, transportation, home maintenance, and accessibility needs for both me and my mother.

A lot of people have asked how they can help, and this registry is meant to make that easier.

Whether you would like to contribute financially, send a meal, help with something practical, share this page, or simply follow along and stay connected, every bit of support helps our family feel a little less alone while we navigate this.
