stem cell treatment / EV therapy-

stemcell treatments will work in conjunction with his intensive therapy so if we are able to pay for these add on treatments during this trip, everything will be more effective!! Mack would benefit from follow up visits for these treatments in the future as well. It is common to do stem cell therapy multiple times over the course of your life when you are as ill as Mack is.

Our fundraising will continue to support the additional treatments Lucas Brain Rehab has to offer and anything else we are lead to try for mack, like Haleighs Hope CBD. We are willing to visit Austin Texas as frequently as we can financially so we can continue care with Dr. Lucas as Mack grows!

Every penny given to us for Mack's treatment goes into a specific checking account and it will only be spent for that purpose.

Mack was diagnosed with a serious seizure disorder (West Syndrome) at 4 months old. This seizure disorder sometimes doesn't respond to traditional medicines, and in Mack's case it hasn't. Mack's neurologists say he's in uncharted waters because none of the usual treatments have worked. We are now exploring alternative therapies like CBD oil and photobiomodular (PBM) therapy, and anything else these specialists recommend. These treatments and therapies are costly, not covered by insurance, and require us to travel across the country, but our hope is to stop his seizures, help him reach new milestones, reverse any serious setbacks, and improve his quality of life. Because of the lack of control we have over the seizures Mack has experienced a breathing regressions, causing him to require 24/7 oxygen and an eating regression causing him to require a G-tube and is not able to take anything orally. Mack has 10-15 seizures a day, and has been up to 70 per day in the past. At the time of writing this, Mack is 13 months old and is around a 4 month developmental level.  he is in a vegetative state.

Here are some alternatives we are trying and need help paying for:
-NeuroSolutions in Austin Texas is at the top of our list and just the consultation is $515. While undergoing treatment, we would have to stay at least 7 days. the bare minimum cost would be $11,400. if we wanted to stay for 2-3 weeks of treatment (which is recommended for him) it is an additional $9,500 per week. None of these totals include flights, a place to stay or car rental. NeuroSolutions also offers add on treatments like stemcell therapy and the cost of that is not included.

Donations will help fund travel expenses and open the door to these treatments for Mack as we are nearing a dead end on the conventional medicine road.  We have created a list of ways you can help.
