In Support of Mack Hofacker
We are raising money for alternative therapy, travel expenses, alternative medications and anything else possibly helpful for our son Mack who has a medication resistant seizure disorder called West Syndrome.
We started this support registry in the summer of 2025. Shortly after that, we raised enough money for a 2 week intensive at Lucas Brain Rehab! We have seen significant results and can not wait to go back! We returned from his first intensive on 2/8/26.
Moving forward we have two purposes for fundraising!
We need help with affording monthly expense for Mack that are not covered by insurance
-Chiropractic adjustments and Quantum Neurology at Pivotal Healing center $400
-Supplements: $220+
-Devices and therapy items that are helpful for PT and vision therapy at home
-Supplements: $220+
-Devices and therapy items that are helpful for PT and vision therapy at home
We need help raising an additional $25,000 for the next treatment endeavor, which is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy with Dr. Harch in Louisana. This total will cover:
-8 weeks of treatment at the clinic
-Travel expenses to and from
-Our own home chamber to be able to maintain progress at home without having to travel to Louisiana again!
The goal of $25,000 does NOT cover the 2 months stay in Louisiana (around $5,000 for a 2 month stay in a place suitable for Mack and all of his equipment). We have minimal funds left over after the intensive in Texas that we need to preserve for this reason.
