Hello, family and friends!
If you haven't heard, Katie's been accepted to a clinical trial at M.D. Anderson for the treatment of myxoid round cell liposarcoma. This is an encouraging opportunity for her to receive specialized treatment and participate in a leading research study!
Katie will travel to and stay in Houston early July to mid-August. They've received some great support already, including a long-term rental for first-responders in treatment that covers most of the time she's there, to financial gifts from loved ones. But there are other expenses Katie and Joel will have to cover -- like airfare, ride-share to and from the hospital or a rental car, meals, and other groceries during her stay.
Many of you have asked how you can help. If you'd like to chip in to help cover the extra costs, this is an easy way to do that. 100% of your gift will go to Katie and Joel!
