Homeward bound!

Katie’s coming home to KC today for the first time since July 5! These last few days have felt especially long just in knowing that home was so close. She continues to feel really well, though, and her appointment with the clinical trial’s head doctor last week was a good one. 

He reiterated that it's definitely too early to see any changes/improvement. So that was reassuring. Cell therapy is slower than other therapies. They should start to see some response at the two-month mark (next scan is early September) and hope for it to continue after that.
