In Support of Hendricks family

Hello, dear family and friends.

The Hendricks family is facing a tough situation. They are living in a camper in North Carolina without essentials like running water, heat, or air conditioning.  We had a space heater over the winter but our window ac broke last fall. We run all of our electrical off of one extension cord. As the person that let us park on his property did not have the proper plug and damaged our electrical system. This has been their home for three years, but it's hard to find a place to park because no campground wants it due to its age. Both Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks are disabled. Mrs. Hendricks has advanced Rheumatoid arthritis,   that makes .mobility difficult on good days. I need to have both knees replaced.  I have several mental health disorders including a form of agoraphobia. My  husband has had all the toes on his right foot amputated and cannot find steady work. They have four beloved dogs, including a serviced dog and an emotional support animal, who are part of their family.  We had 4 vehicles died in 4 months with costs of repairs beyond our ability to pay. Despite their situation and efforts to seek assistance,  the section 8 program is so overloaded that they don't even take applications for the wait list. Programs like HOP and others were completely refunded before we could get signed up. The low income housing or income based housing is all wait listed up to two years away. they haven't found stable housing because of income requirements and accessibility issues. I wish with all that I am to be able to start my dream business of  designing clothing for people that want to dress like they did in the 17th, 18th, or 19th  centuries. If I can get  a place to live with the space for a small sewing space. I could then pay it forward and help other people like us struggling so severely.  We have tried so hard to get back on our feet. And my sister had helped us as much as she can. I want to sleep in peace not worried where my next meal is or where I can take a shower. Or use a fridge that is only working every now and then and only when it's cold outside. Or if I can plug in my ac fridge and microwave. Without killing my power
