Hello dear family and friends.
We want to share some important news about our dear Amy. As some of you know,  she was recently laid off from her job because of a Reduction in Force. Unfortunately, on top of that, she received a diagnosis of Invasive Ductal Carcinoma on March 19, 2026. This means she has a challenging journey ahead - including surgery and possibly chemotherapy or radiation. We'll know more of the plan after meeting with the care team Thursday March 26th. Amy needs our support to navigate through this difficult time. Her situation is urgent, overwhelming and scary. We want to help her as much as we can.

Amy spent six years as a sexual assault advocate supporting others through the worst experiences of their lives, perhaps we can return the favor.  Let's come together to support Amy during this challenging time by offering help through these actions:

  1. Choose from Support Registry options
  2. 'Share' to Spread the Word to family and friends
  3. 'Follow' Updates to stay informed

We will also share an Amazon wishlist soon of needed items once we know what her care plan is.

Wishlist can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1AUUVO0MP84WC?ref_=wl_share

Amy's ARMY gear (t-shirts, hats, hoodies, and water bottles) can be found here: https://www.bonfire.com/store/amys-army-1/

I’m sorry. It really sucks not enough margins were removed to be clear, Amy. It sounds overwhelming for you to think about after probably expecting surgery to get it all

I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I wish you the best in your journey but try to stay faithful and positive. Speaking from personal experience and someone living with cancer for 12 years, positivity really does help get through each day....
