Alexis is one of the most loved, hilarious, strong, and genuinely magnetic humans we know. At 42, our dear friend, loving wife to Chris and superhero mom to Cece, Nellie, and Leo has been diagnosed with stage IV non-small cell adenocarcinoma. This is a gut-punch of a diagnosis that none of us saw coming.

If anyone can face something this difficult with grit, grace, and her signature wit, it’s Alexis. She’s a fighter. She’s a radiant, doting mom and small business owner who juggles birthday parties, business meetings, and carpools with her humor and unstoppable sparkle.

Now more than ever, she and her family need our strength, love, and yes, our laughter. Let’s rally around Alexis, just as she’s always done for us, with full hearts, humor, and the kind of support that moves mountains.

Alexis is currently receiving care at the KU Cancer Center, where her oncologist has outlined her initial treatment plan. Alexis and Chris will travel to MD Anderson in Houston, TX the week of July 17th for a consultation, where they will consider making any changes to the recommended treatment plan.
