In Support of Tiffany Stocks

On September 4, 2026, my sister, Tiffany Stocks, suddenly fell unconscious while on a camping trip at the Spring Creek Association Campground. Her husband, Chris Stocks, and our father, Todd Peterson, immediately began administering CPR for some time. Tiffany’s mom Cindy, and her grandbabies stood aside during the medical intervention and life-saving efforts being performed by Chris and Todd, EMTs arrived and took over the care of Tiffany. The medical teams were able to find a weak pulse and rushed Tiffany to Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, Nevada. 

After testing and an emergency procedure, doctors discovered that Tiffany had suffered a heart attack with 99% blockage, which we were told may have been caused by her last pregnancy and the medical complications experienced during it. Doctors were able to locate and open the blockage and place a stent, immediately improving blood flow to her heart. After several hours, Tiffany and Chris were flown to St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, where Tiffany remains intubated and asleep. She has experienced seizures and other medical complications, but she is still fighting to be here with her husband, her children Liam, Ethan, and Gracie, and the rest of her family. We are currently waiting for additional testing to determine the extent of the impact on her brain and what the next steps will be moving forward.

We know the road ahead is going to be long, and the medical expenses are already beginning to pile up, including the flight to Salt Lake, which we have been told may not be covered by Chris’ insurance. We don’t expect any donations, but they are highly appreciated. Simply sharing Tiffany’s story means so much to our family. But if you are able and willing to contribute, every donation will help relieve some of the financial burden Chris and their family will face while they focus on Tiffany.
