Hello family and friends!
We are reaching out for help. The Shelman Family, consisting of my husband, our children, and myself, are currently living in a hotel. A couple of years ago, we lost everything because of serious illnesses that hit us hard. Both my husband and I lost our jobs due to these health challenges. Although we've made progress and regained our health, finding stable and suitable jobs has been tough. I'm working full-time as a waitress, but my husband has been unable to find a job. We've fallen on hard times again. We have to reapply for SNAP benefits, but we don't know when we will receive them, and right now, we have only enough money to stay in the hotel until Sunday, and no food.
