Hello dear family and friends! We are reaching out today with deep gratitude for your love and support.
The Huckaby family is facing a challenging time. My husband has been diagnosed with a rare disease that causes cavernomas, which are clots in the blood vessels in the brain. His situation is particularly unique and concerning because one of these cavernomas has developed directly on his optic nerve. This means he is at risk of losing his sight permanently. To address this, he will need to undergo surgery out of state. There are always risks with surgery and especially brain surgery. However, we are hopeful and are preparing for every possible outcome.
