As parents caring for a kiddo with cystic fibrosis, we (mostly Kristen) often use "spare" time to coordinate prescriptions, insurance, appointments and troubleshoot the issues that come up around those things. Housework and cooking get set aside in favor of medical tasks. We've also wished there were a few more people who could help with treatments and medications so we could go out as a couple, even to give Kristen's parents a break since they are our regular (and very joyful) babysitters.Β
Whether you feel led to send items or meals, lend a hand, or send a few bucks to cover the basics, your support makes a real difference. Caregivers like us often feel unseen, and your support says, "I see you."
When you're ready to help, choose from registry options and subscribe to updates to stay informed. We have so many friends and family scattered across North America (and beyond!) who we know want to stay in the loop and show love in various ways.
