Thanks to our family and friends who supported us here and on the apps, we met our fundraising goal for a vehicle. We've started looking more seriously for a car that can carry us into this new season, and hopefully be a blessing. Thank you all so much for your care and generosity! It's been wind in our sails as we walk through a very uncertain time.

Mike's job search continues, and we'd greatly appreciate your prayers. There are currently a couple of positions he's waiting to hear about, and we're as hopeful as we can be despite a lot of discouragement the past few months. As Mike keeps pursuing leads and applying everywhere he can, I am working hard to coordinate Joanna's medications and care and get insurance lined up. It's a tangled web of deadlines and details, and my prayer is that whatever plan we end up with next (likely from the marketplace) would be temporary until an employer plan comes along. 

We're going to hold off on buying a vehicle for a little longer in case paying the bills becomes the greater need. Will you pray with us for wisdom, provision, hope and eventually the relief and stability of a job for Mike? 

One of my sweet great-aunties had a saying on her wall that I noticed as a teenager and have thought back to recently. As I recall, it said, "Just enough light for the step I'm on, Lord" and we are definitely living that right now. There is provision for each day, and we trust the Light to keep leading us.
