In Support of The Gang Family

In March, Laura Gang received a diagnosis of colon cancer. She had a resection surgery on May 13th and has fully recovered from that procedure. At her post-op visit, the surgeon was surprised and pleased with her progress. Pathology revealed that the tumor had affected a few lymph nodes. She was then diagnosed as Stage 3b. Laura began 6 months of chemotherapy with round 1 of FOLFOX infusions in July.

Spencer and Abigail are the first priority in addition to Laura's recovery. She homeschools them year-round and is concerned about keeping them on track for the next semester.  Currently, she is on leave from her part-time writing position for Pacific Union College.

The Gang family deeply appreciates the overwhelming support, prayers, and messages they have received from family, friends, and colleagues.

Here are a few ways you can support the Gangs during this challenging time:

Keep Them in Your Prayers: Please continue to remember Laura, Duane, Spencer, and Abby in your thoughts and prayers.

2. Send a Meal: The Gangs are so appreciative of the meal train when she had surgery. As they go through the next 6 months of chemo, the most helpful food donations are Uber Eats and GrubHub gift cards to use when Laura is sick and Duane is working full-time. You can donate to gift cards on the Donation button on this support page.

Make a Donation: Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Whether it's the cost of a cup of coffee or more, your generosity will help ease the financial burden for the Gangs as they navigate this journey.
