I went in for chemo round #4 today, but instead, I found out my port needed to be surgically removed right away. It turns out it wasn’t placed correctly, which has led to several complications since June. So, I had surgery this afternoon and it was painful. 

In two weeks, I’ll have a PICC line placed and will resume treatment. On the bright side, I now have some extra “up days” to spend with my family and prepare for school.
