Hello family and friends, we hope this message finds you well. Our Family is facing some challenging times. We are dealing with Andriana’s serious health issues including heart issues, autoimmune diseases, severe hypoglycemic episodes, multiple doctors appointments and hospital visits, new medications and her doctor’s are suspecting insulinoma. She’s had multiple blood tests and a CT scan which has now led us to needing an MRI. Once the insulinoma’s have been found she will require surgery to remove them. However, all this has caused her to be very sick. She’s been swelling up and been in horrible pain, her heart has been affected. She has been on a heart monitor for the last two weeks and will now have to wear a Continuous glucose monitor that we’re not sure if the insurance will pay for. She is also on a new medication for her heart. The doctor has advised her not to be alone or drive herself or the kids to school due to the risks of losing consciousness and the possibility of seizures from severe hypoglycemia. She has been advised to stop working and keep glucose gels and shots with her at all times. Due to these circumstances, the husband has taken intermittent family medical leave, but it is unpaid which will affect the household income and Andriana’s care. This, along with Joseph being the only household income currently makes the situation urgent for us as we have 3 children to support, bills, and medical bills for prescriptions and doctor’s visits.
