In Support of Judy
Dear Friends and Family,
Judy, who is only 65 years young, is a wife, sister, mother of 3 and grandmother of 6, who has been battling a stage IV metastatic melanoma cancer diagnosis since August 2020. In the last couple of weeks, her health has taken a severe turn, and we are facing an incredibly difficult and urgent time in her cancer journey. The options available to her are rapidly dwindling, and time is of the essence. We are reaching out to you, our dear friends and family, with a heavy heart to ask for your help in securing the funds necessary for us to pursue ongoing alternative treatments that could significantly extend her life.
Our priority right now is to get our mother to a Gerson Clinic in Arizona, which specializes in a unique and proven protocol involving a very specific diet, detoxification, and holistic treatments. We believe in the power of food as medicine, and this will help implement this diet under the supervision of a doctor, as well as teach her and our dad how to continue this diet at home. We really feel this is our best chance. This clinic also offers additional therapies such as IV treatments, sauna detox, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy—all of which have shown promise in improving outcomes for patients with advanced cancer.
Our mother’s case is particularly complicated. Her melanoma has a specific mutated gene that continuously mutates, much like a virus, which adds a layer of complexity to an already dire situation. While this is all undoubtedly daunting, with some prayers and help, it is not impossible—especially if we can act quickly.
Here is an outline of the costs involved in pursuing this alternative treatment path:
- Gerson Clinic: $12,000 (fee for a 2-week visit to implement and learn the therapy/diet)
- IV Treatments: $450 per month ($5,500 annually)
- Supplements/Holistic Oncologist: Approximately $2,000 per month ($24,000 annually)
- Tests: $1,200 (completed monthly)
- Sauna Therapy: $3,000 (one-time cost for a therapeutic sauna)
- Travel and accommodation for the clinic: Estimated at $2,000
- Groceries: $2,000 per month (lots of organic fruits/vegetables for eating and juicing)

In total, we are looking at significant expenses, and we are hoping to raise enough to cover the first few months of treatment as well as the necessary travel and accommodation costs. Every donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward supporting our mother’s treatment and giving her the chance to continue fighting.
