I am reaching out to share some unexpected news. I recently had surgery to remove my uterus and Fallopian tubes. Sadly, my pathology results revealed that I have Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. Following another surgery to remove my ovaries, I am now preparing for six weeks of chemotherapy. Despite having great health insurance, which covers my treatments, I am facing financial challenges. I've used up all my paid time off and sick leave. Now, any time I take for treatments and recovery will be unpaid, adding stress to this difficult time.
I have set up this page to ask for assistance to cover everyday expenses that insurance doesn't cover, such as rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation for my hospital visits. It's crucial for me to focus on getting better and not worry about these financial burdens. Your kindness will truly help me concentrate on healing and fighting this cancer. Thank you for all your love and support.
