Meet Birdie – our sweet, determined, and sunshine-filled 20-month-old.
She was diagnosed with HIE (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy), and from the moment she came into our lives, she has been showing us what true strength looks like.

Just yesterday, we received a phone call we never expected.
An extremely rare last-minute opening became available with Dr. Proefrock at the Total Wellness Center — a world-renowned leader in adipose-derived stem cell treatment. Dr. P’s waitlist is normally two years or more, and we had been preparing ourselves to save and wait for our turn.
An extremely rare last-minute opening became available with Dr. Proefrock at the Total Wellness Center — a world-renowned leader in adipose-derived stem cell treatment. Dr. P’s waitlist is normally two years or more, and we had been preparing ourselves to save and wait for our turn.
This treatment uses stem cells from Birdie’s own body and has the potential to improve motor function, reduce inflammation, and support healing in children like her. We believed this opportunity was far in the future — but now, in what feels like a God-given moment, the door has opened this week.
The total cost for the treatment and travel is roughly $10,000, with an additional intensive physical therapy program afterward estimated at about $5,000.
Asking for help is never easy, but we believe in the power of prayer, community, and love.
