Hi everyone! This is Chelsea, Seth and Jess’ friend. Many of you know that Seth just got diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of cancer. It is treatable and curable, though it calls for a quick response to begin chemotherapy treatment which will take place continually over the next 6 months.
Hi everyone! This is Chelsea, Seth and Jess’ friend. Many of you know that Seth just got diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of cancer. It is treatable and curable, though it calls for a quick response to begin chemotherapy treatment which will take place continually over the next 6 months.
Seth and Jess don’t know their capacity for keeping people updated with info, so I’m going to be the relayer of updates and will send them out as they happen.
This Support Registry is built to give clear direction to everyone who wants to help the Seth and Jess. Seth and Jess are so grateful for all of you and your support during this challenging time and feel your love for them!
As Seth is going to be in chemo treatment over the 6 months, starting on Tuesday, April 28th. There will be ample time to support with bringing meals! The doctor shared that he will be on a rhythm of receiving the chemo every other week and will most likely feel the worst the week after receiving the chemo. The day options on the registry were simply to have options, if there's a time that works better for you just let me know!
The financial support we are asking for would cover Seth's medical insurance deductible, which is $10,500.00 and also support covering a cycle of IVF, which is between $15,000-$20,000 out of pocket. Seth and Jess were just about to start trying to have a family when they found out about Seth's cancer diagnosis. Due to how the cancer and chemotherapy treatment impact fertility, the options for them to have a child is now IVF.
