My name is Valerie, and I am Ryan George’s grandmother. With a heart that is completely broken, I am asking for the help and prayers of our family, friends, and community as we face the unimaginable loss of our beloved Ryan.

Ryan tragically lost his life in a devastating accident. Our family is now facing the painful and difficult process of recovering Ryan and bringing him home so that we can lay him to rest with the dignity, love, and respect he deserves.

No family is ever prepared for something like this. Along with the overwhelming grief of losing Ryan, there are significant expenses associated with his retrieval and transportation, burial, funeral, and memorial services.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help ease that financial burden so our family can focus on what matters most right now: bringing Ryan home, honoring his life, and supporting one another through this tremendous loss.

Ryan was deeply loved. He was a son, grandson, family member, friend, teammate, and brother to so many. His life touched people throughout the Spring Hills, Santa Rosa Junior College, and Montgomery wrestling communities, as well as our greater community. The love that has already surrounded our family during these incredibly difficult days has meant more than words can express.

All funds raised will be used toward expenses related to Ryan’s retrieval and recovery, transportation, funeral and burial services, memorial expenses, and other directly related family costs.

Any amount you are able to give will help. If you are unable to contribute financially, we ask that you please share this page and, most importantly, pray for Ryan’s family and everyone who loved him.

Our greatest desire is simply to bring Ryan home and give him the beautiful and dignified farewell he deserves.
