In Support of Rick Monroe
Rick Monroe has spent years using his music, time, and platform to help others. Now, he and his family need that same support.
Rick has been diagnosed with malignant squamous cell carcinoma in his neck/throat area and will undergo surgery at Vanderbilt on 9/25. Before treatment even begins, his family is facing a $10,000 out-of-pocket insurance deductible—and that is only the beginning.
Until surgery and pathology are complete, they won’t know what treatment comes next or what additional co-pays and medical expenses they will face. Rick will also be unable to perform for a period of time during treatment and recovery, creating a loss of income while those expenses continue to grow.
This fundraiser is meant to help with the immediate $10,000 deductible, additional medical costs, lost income, and everyday expenses while Rick focuses on healing.
There are still many unknowns ahead, but Rick and his family don’t have to face them alone. Every donation, share, prayer, and word of encouragement means more than you know.
