Anyone who knows Doug knows that he has always been someone who cares deeply about the people around him and the community he has built over the years.
Doug has owned and operated Primetime Wellness Center since 2013, serving the Lacey and Manahawkin communities with consistency, dedication, and heart. He has worked seven days a week for as long as anyone can remember, always showing up for his business, his customers, and the people who rely on him.
He built his business from the ground up with his own hands and determination, even taking on major repairs like rebuilding the roof while still keeping the doors open and serving the community. Beyond that, Doug has always gone out of his way to help others—offering discounts to people who are struggling, creating job opportunities for those who need work, and donating his time, money, and energy whenever he can.
Primetime has also been more than just a business. Doug created a space for music, connection, and community that is alcohol-free and welcoming to everyone. It has become a place where people can come together, feel supported, and be part of something positive.
Right now, Doug is going through an incredibly difficult and uncertain time. Along with the emotional toll this situation has taken, there are significant expenses and responsibilities that don’t simply stop when someone’s life is suddenly turned upside down.
We’re creating this fundraiser to give the people who know and care about Doug a way to support him while he navigates the road ahead. Donations will help with immediate expenses, legal costs, and other necessities that arise during this time.
This isn’t about asking anyone to judge the circumstances or take a side. It’s simply about showing up for someone in our community when he needs support most.
