In Support of Padre Rafael OSB

Feast Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Guatemala, August 15th, 2026

We want to inform to all our oblates, friends, and benefactors:

We are calling upon you to have a fundraiser.

The purpuse of this invitation is to invite you to participate in the acquiring a non-profit organization in the US with the goal of obtaining a property. After obtaining a non-profit organization we will then start a fundraiser to raise money to purchase a property in the US. The house would be used now for retreats and eventually as a benedictine monastery.

We would then finally have a place for the our Benedictine Family. We appeal to your generosity.

Daily prayers at the Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all those helping aquire this house of God.

In addition this fundraiser will also help in a great measure for building support for the Franciscan and Carmalite Convents we are taking care off as the non-profit organization can be used to support them as well.

With my blessing

Father Raphael OSB
