For the past 10 years, Blactina Media has been a labor of absolute love, amplifying voices and building a community of over 100,000 people across platforms. Two days ago, I officially announced my retirement from public advocacy.
Building and running an independent media space for a decade without corporate backing has come at a severe cost to my financial stability. I am currently in a major transitional period, and my temporary employee housing arrangement ends in exactly one month.
I am launching this $25,000 Transition & Sustainability Fund to structurally secure my next chapter from scratch. I am completely pivoting my energy away from heavy advocacy and stepping into my power as an independent creator via long-form writing and digital video production.
