On the night of August 29th, a terrible incident occurred. An SUV crashed through the side of the hotel where Noel and Jesse Pettigrew were staying. They stay there every weekend because they run the boardwalk market in Florence. The SUV hit the bathroom Noel had just entered. She was trapped inside, hurt, and scared. Her husband, Jesse, ran to turn off the vehicle. Noel's injuries are serious. She has holes in her leg and constant pain. Despite getting better slowly, the challenges are immense. The driver had no insurance, and Noel and Jesse have missed work. It is tough for them to support their family of four children and manage this unexpected crisis.
