I'm Monica Bundy, and I face daily challenges due to being hypermobile without a diagnosis. I experience constant and severe pain from conditions like full-body Rheumatoid Arthritis, Degenerative Disc Disease, and potentially Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. These cause my joints to painfully dislocate or partially dislocate frequently, leading to muscle spasms and nerve pain. My appointments at the Mayo Clinic are vital to identifying my condition but come with a hefty bill of $18,000. Additionally, I need facial reconstruction because my sinus cavity has collapsed. This adds to the urgent financial strain, especially since I have six children and am unable to work.
