In Support of Miriam Vera Sewing Center of Pakistan

Miriam Vera Sewing Center of Pakistan
First of all I want to thank you for considering this cause and the very dire need for safety for these women. So many of us take safety for granted but in Pakistan, safety is a luxury that is not always guaranteed.

My friends in Pakistan and I have started a sewing center as a way to help women in Pakistan and their children have this safe haven and learn a trade that they can use in their life and to help provide for themselves while they are unwed. Our hope is also to help them find godly husbands so they can truly be safe from the Muslim abusers. My friends there who run the center are teaching the women how to sew and make beautiful dresses and Pakistani suits to be sold to a local business. They have already sold their summer batch to the shopkeeper there and he has made another large order for them to make winter dresses. This is a huge opportunity!

All of the women in the sewing center have been horrifically used and abused by Muslim men who have no mercy for them for the simple crime of being Christian. They treat them worse than animals, beating, r*ping, withholding food and water, and even m*rdering their children with no end in sight. Even just this past week, a young woman had her newborn child m*rdered in front of her and they left the child’s b*dy in the sun to rot. Then in the days after, while she was still healing from the birth, the Muslims r*ped her and beat her and almost k*lled her as well while us women here in America slept soundly in our beds not having to live with the fear of not knowing what would come tomorrow.

Many of these women have children who have to watch these horrors take place and eat moldy bread and drink dirty water as our children are happily oblivious, playing video games and going to the park. This hurts my heart so much and I need your help to bring these women and children to safety and give them better lives and to show them that God IS good and that He DOES love them!

God has been faithful in helping us start this endeavor of the Miriam Vera Sewing Center there in Pakistan and while we’ve been able to limp it along with small donations here the there, it is time to really bring this sewing center to the next level. We have saved about 12 women and their children so far by paying off their debts to the Muslim men who had abused them and now they are free to live and work in the sewing center. There are many more, about 30 families, who are yet in need of saving. Please help us save these women and their children bring about a successful business that they can run together and be self sustaining.
