Hey guys, here’s another update on our progress in the Sewing Center and Rimsha’s wedding.

The women have been working very hard, day and night as I mentioned in my last update, making dresses to bring to the shopkeeper to fulfill the order he made.  Everything has been going great and Nabeel has been able to make some more purchases for Rimsha’s wedding such as dishes for her new kitchen and towels for the wedding party (which apparently is a tradition in Pakistan).  Nabeel has been working so very hard, dealing with the threats of the Muslims, protecting Rimsha inside so she cannot be taken advantage of before she gets married, and making trips back and forth to town to pick up money from the bank, talk to the shopkeepers we are working with for Rimsha’s wedding goods, and the dress shop to take finished products to be exchanged for more money.  He has to walk everywhere so this is a very big deal since it takes him two hours to go to the bank.  But YHWH has been good and he doesn’t complain saying that YHWH gives him strength to complete this mission that YHWH has given him.

We recently had some machines finally break down due to all the use they’ve been getting, and the main electric machine was down for a bit as well.  But praise YHWH, He brought a donation in just in time for that without us even asking and we were able to get them fixed.

But no sooner did we get them fixed and start work again on the dresses than the dress shop owner called and changed his order.  He wants us to stop making the winter dresses he ordered and start making a specific type of jacket that we don’t have the material or machines for.  We found out that he is exporting our goods to Malaysia and Uganda and his customers there requested this jacket.  I am still unsure what we can do about this right now because we don’t have the funds to buy more machines and material, but I am looking into a way to use the material we have already and still make sales.  The thing is, we purposely waited to purchase the bulk fabric so we could get a discount and make sure that we were able to get good quality fabric.  Now that the shopkeeper has changed his order, we are kind of at a loss what to do because we bought this material at his request and he won’t pay us for it.

Anyhow, that is a problem for another time as I am doing what I can to try and solve it.

We are now very close to Rimsha’s wedding.  It is scheduled for November 13th and 14th, which is coming up very fast.  We still have yet to pay for the furniture, which really is our biggest cost.  The full amount needed is $900 (which is a discount compared to what he charges the Muslims at $1,200) but he is willing to let us have the furniture if we can get $700 for him to start building it and then just pay the remainder after the wedding as we can.  We also still have some money due on the food, which I believe is about $250.  The lady with the bridal shop has also allowed us to pay the remainder of what we owe after the wedding, which is such a blessing!  YHWH really has been in this and has led us to the right people that want to help.  If we can do right with this wedding, this will make them feel better about continuing to work with us.  They have already said that they believe in our mission and want to help in anyway they can, so I would really like to continue working with them.

We also have some bills coming up again in a couple weeks…you know, all those annoying monthly bills.  Rent - $120, Sewage - $55, Electricity - $270, Gas for the Stove - $70.  YHWH always provides and I know He won’t let us down this time either.

There are many needs yet for the Sewing Center, but the biggest and most urgent one is Rimsha’s wedding.  Let’s help her get married and begin a new life with a loving and godly husband away from the abuse of the Muslims.  This is what we want to accomplish most with the Sewing Center and YHWH has given us such a wonderful opportunity to do that!  Please help us accomplish this by praying, sharing this post, and donating so we can send her to the man that YHWH brought for her.  Thank you all so much!  Praise YHWH!!!
