My name is Mika McCarty, and I am currently facing a difficult time with my 1 and a half year old daughter, Kaiomi. We are homeless and live out of my car, which is also our only transportation. I work as a certified nursing assistant (C.N.A), but my car's transmission gave out after 200,000 miles. Without a working car, we have nowhere to sleep, and I risk losing my job because I can't get to work.
