However, Mia faces a financial challenge as she cannot get federal student loans due to her disability and lacks a cosigner for private loans. She is working hard to secure scholarships and sponsorships, and she even received a generous donation of $2,000 from a family she tutors. However, she needs to raise $95,000 urgently to cover all her school and living expenses soon. She had to get a deferment for next year as she could not raise enough money for the fall of 2026.
