Hello community, if you're seeing this, it's because Maura loves you — and chances are, you love her right back. After 20 incredible years with CFJ, we are coming together to honor, uplift, and celebrate her decades of joy, brilliance, heart, mischief, rigor, and unwavering commitment to young people and our movement.
Previously our goal was simply to provide Maura with some funds for this transitionary period in their life. But, at the request of Maura and her friends we have at this time decided to focus the fundraising for a specific purpose: GETTING MAURA A CAR!
Maura has been saving money these past years to purchase a car, but because of transitioning out of CFJ has had to dip into their down payment savings to cover regular expenses. It would be amazing if we could help them recuperate some of those savings while also giving her the ability to finally purchase a car! If you've lived in California, you know how necessary a vehicle is. Please help grant Maura this necessary freedom to get around in life!
- $5 for each year of her service → $100
- $10 for each of the 5 roles she held → $50
- $26 to commemorate Maura getting a Car in 2026!
