Hello family and friends.
Our dear friend Lisa Bowman, who volunteers as staff with us, has been in a terrible car wreck. She has suffered severe injuries. She will need surgery on her foot, which already has a metal plate. She also has several broken ribs, and might need surgery on her knee.
Lisa has been through so much already, surviving COVID-19 after spending months on a ventilator. She fought tirelessly to regain partial strength , she now walks with a cane and is on permanent oxygen. Her journey to recovery is going to be challenging and long.
