Hello, family and friends!

Thank you for taking the time to read about me. My name is Kristin Gushurst. I retired earlier last summer in July after facing some tough challenges with breast cancer. I had to go through surgery and radiation treatments. While I'm happy to say that I’ve recovered from the illness, I'm still facing some financial difficulties. As a substitute teacher, I didn't pay into Social Security or disability insurance, so my current income just isn't enough to cover my expenses.

Things are urgent this week, so I would deeply appreciate any support you can offer. I have set up a registry with options to help me during this time. Your kindness makes a big difference.
