Kierra urgently needs an Air Medevac transport back home to San Diego, Ca. Kierra suffered what is known as An Intracranial Brain Bleed and has been in the SICU in at a Philadelphia Hospital since June 8, 2026. We would like to bring Kierra home to San Diego so that she can receive care from a known San Diego hospital which specializes in Acute Neurological Rehabilitation. Where she would be closer to her true support system
Her treating physician has confirmed that she is stable enough to be moved but this will be no easy feat and will require extensive funding even with insurance.
UPDATE AS OF 7/23/26
We would like to provide an important update regarding Kierras care and the challenges we are facing.
Although Kierras Treating Physician has confirmed that she is stable enough to transport to San Diego, CA, both the hospital and Kierras insurance are attempting to force a transfer to a local area Rehabilitation Facility here in Philadelphia. While this facility is the same type of facility that has accepted Kierra in San Diego, the circumstances are drastically different. In Philadelphia Kierra would be placed in a setting where she would have no family support, no familiar advocates, and no one present daily to ensure that her needs are met. This is deeply concerning given her vulnerable condition and the emotional and physical support she requires.
This situation is even more troubling because Kierra is under Plenary Guardianship which is intended to protect her best interests. Despite this legal protection, the insurance fund that administered her coverage during her time of service is refusing to authorize medical transport to San Diego, where she can receive Neurological rehabilitation and be surrounded by her true support system.
Because of the denial we are faced with the overwhelming cost of arranging the Air Medevac Transport ourselves. The financial burden is immense. This fundraiser will cover the cost of the air transport itself, which is substantial. We are doing everything we can to bring Kierra home safely, but we cannot do it without your help.
We are asking for continued support. Your donations will directly help us secure he medical flight and ensure Kierra can begin her recovery in an environment where she is supported, protected, and surrounded by family.
Your compassion, generosity, and prayers mean more to us than world can express. Thank you for standing with Kierra and our family during this critical time.

Hello Family, Friends, and those have had the link shared with you via others. I am excited to share that two days ago Kierra stepped down from ICU to a regular bed in a hospital. This is a major step for her. I want to thank everyone first and foremost for the Prayers. Please keep the prayers going up. If anyone can get to the other side of this catatrophe it is Kierra. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and most importantly prayed for Our Dear Kierra. I look forward to sharing with you all, all of the amazing things Kierra had been integrating into her life she built for herself in Philadelphia. One day at a time, we should hold close our goal of bringing Kierra home to San Diego where she can obtain the best chance of a strong recovery. Peace be upon you all. Please keep sharing this fundraiser. One donation at a time WE WILL BRING KIERRA HOME TO SAN DIEGO.
August 13, 2026 Update
Peace be upon you all. Today marks 1 week anniversary of Kierras liberation from the ventilator. I needed time to be certain that she could sustain breathing on her own before I jumped on here and gave any type of false hope. My goal has always been and continues to be #BringingKierraHome. Kierra continues to make monumental steps towards recovery. For those of you who know her personally, you know she is built for this fight. Vent liberation is a game changer. She is now eligible to travel by ground transportation. Unfortunately, the insurance company will also fight me on this. Do not misunderstand what I am saying. I am equipped and ready to fight the insurance company via the appeals process, however, getting her home remains a time sensitive issue. While I am fighting the organizational bureaucracy known as Anthem Blue Cross (who is hiding behind WebTPA/32BJ Health services fund) Kierra is laying in an acute hospital bed. Utilizing resources that could have sent her home multiple times via Air Ambulance for the amount of money they have paid for the hospital bed. Please share this fundraiser. Let's take Gatekeeping out of the equation. Kierra deserves to be connected to her village of a support system. The first quote I received from the Ground Transportation Company is $17,000. Help us to achieve this goal. Any amount is helpful rather big or small. The key will be making sure that as many people see this fundraiser as possible. I know collectively we can do it. Please share her story Far and Wide, so she can be on her way back to San Diego. Thank you all for your support. Our hearts are full.
Please share and support.
