Fighting for Kai’s Future: 2025–2026 Therapy Campaign
Kai was born at just 25 weeks, weighing 2lb 2oz, and has been fighting uphill ever since, surviving four brain operations, 116 days in the NICU, and a diagnosis of Spastic Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy. He’s full of life, joy, and determination… but his battle isn’t over.
Every single day includes hours of stretching, therapy, and hard work, all to help Kai build the strength, balance, and coordination most of us take for granted. He’s making amazing progress, sitting unsupported for a few seconds, commando crawling, communicating verbally, but we’re running out of time to take advantage of a crucial window in his brain’s development.
⏳ The Opportunity in Front of Us
In 2025–2026, Kai has the chance to receive two life-changing therapies, but they come at a significant cost:
🧠 Cytotron Therapy – $30,000
This 30-day neuromodulation program could reduce spasticity and help awaken damaged brain tissue. It’s only available in Mexico or India, which means our entire family must relocate internationally for a month covering treatment, housing, travel, etc.
💉 Stem Cell Treatments – $18,000 each
Stem cell therapy in america and South America has shown incredible results for kids with CP, helping improve motor function, speach, reduce tightness so Kai isn't in constant discomfort. Kai will need multiple treatments, each requiring separate international travel and recovery periods.
Combined, we’re facing $75,000+ in out-of-pocket expenses and these therapies are not covered by insurance.
💛 Why It Matters
These aren’t just “nice-to-have” treatments, they’re his best chance at walking, moving independently, and living a full, joyful life. The earlier we act, the more we can help his brain rewire and strengthen through neuroplasticity.
We’ve already poured our hearts, time, and finances into this fight… but we can’t do this next phase alone.
