Hello family and friends.
This past Sunday evening, while preparing dinner on the barbecue, Joe was suddenly engulfed in flames and suffered extensive burns from his waist to his head. He was airlifted to the University of Utah Medical Burn Center in Salt Lake City, where he is receiving specialized treatment.
Joe went through his first surgery today where they grafted his left side, back and arm. Doctor said he did great.
Greta is by Joe’s side as he begins the long and difficult road to recovery. I created this support page to help Joe and Greta with the unexpected expenses they will face in the coming months, as well as to provide updates on Joe’s recovery.
