Three years ago, my world completely shattered. I lost contact with my son after a sudden and devastating separation from my ex-wife, who cut off all communication. The pain of being away from him tears me apart daily, but it is also the only motivation I need to keep pushing forward. I am writing this today to humbly ask for your help to rebuild my life so I can be the Mother my son deserves.
The Challenge:
Right now, I am starting from absolute zero. I have been living hand-to-mouth and facing the harsh realities of being unhoused. Despite the elements and the sleepless nights, I have been actively searching for work and showing up to interviews. I am determined to survive this. However, my biggest roadblock is transportation. In this city, without a vehicle, finding and maintaining a job is almost impossible.
The Goal:
I am raising funds to purchase a reliable used car. This isn't just about transportation; this car is my lifeline. It means getting to job interviews, traveling to a steady workplace, attending appointments, and taking the very first real step out of poverty.
