Our hearts are completely broken as we share the unimaginable loss of our precious girl, Makenzie.
Makenzie was one of those little souls who could light up every room she entered. She was bright, silly, goofy, kind, loving, and incredibly smart. Her little personality was bigger than life, and she brought so much joy and love to everyone lucky enough to know her. At just two years old, she had already left an everlasting mark on so many hearts.
Our family is devastated by her unexpected passing following a sudden medical emergency that tragically took her life. There are no words that can truly describe the pain of losing a child, especially so suddenly and unexpectedly.
Makenzie's parents are now facing an unimaginable loss while also trying to navigate the difficult days ahead. Because of this tragedy, they will be unable to work for an unknown amount of time as they grieve, make arrangements, and try to begin processing life without their beautiful little girl.
Heather is preparing to welcome another precious baby while grieving the child they just lost. This is intended to help support Makenzie's parents and their growing family during this incredibly difficult time, including helping with immediate expenses and allowing them the time they need to grieve without the added burden of worrying about how they will make ends meet.
