We have some important news to share about our brave Teddy.
We have some important news to share about our brave Teddy.
Teddy Munro, an active 11-year-old from Upland, CA, was born with Fanconi anemia. In October 2025, we learned that Teddy has developed a condition called MDS. This is a type of blood cancer that has a high risk of turning into leukemia.
Teddy starts his treatment on November 6, 2025. He will receive chemotherapy to eliminate the unhealthy cells before getting a bone marrow transplant from his hero younger brother, Miles.
Teddy needs to stay at Children's Hospital Los Angeles for 1-2 months and for 100 days afterward at the Ronald McDonald House Los Angeles until he fully recovers.
