In Support of Gaspar-DaSilva Family
Marcos work truck was not avle to be found , even with numerous calls. After , 3 days it was located. His work tools, important papers , and Personal belongings gone. Damage evidence on truck. Marcos prolonged detainment led to the damaged truck a F250 , back to bank possession.
A Habeus was filed in Massachusetts on Jan 23rd, he was moved anyway.
DHS moved Marcos and often gave misinformation of where he was to prevent family and his lawyer access. Marcos was not allowed access to his lawyer from January 23rd to February 11th. In the beginnin weeks conditions were really hard with no bed, shower, blanket, or change of clothes. Food sparse and often spoiled, the water making him ill. Once brought to a permanent facility in AZ , the family , congressional members and his lawyer fought for medical care, fearing sepsis.
We are finally closer to getting Marcos home.
Here is what we are hoping to get help with:
1. Marcos commissary to continue to maintain safe water and food, plus phone calls to his Wife and 3 minor children.
2. Alessia travel expenses to get to Marcos with identification, clean clothes and being there for support. This could take a few days so a hotel stay for 2 to 3 days may be needed.
3. Marcos travel home to Maine from AZ.
4. Help with financial needs while we manage him back home.
5. Help to get Marcos some of his tools and a new Truck.
6. We will need to file for a work visa, even though Marcos has an ItN number and has paid taxes.
