Hello dear family and friends. We are reaching out to share a story of strength and hope, asking for your help in a time of need.
Freda is a brave mom and survivor, who just escaped a 15-year-long domestic violence situation. She now has a safe home with her three teens, including a daughter expecting a baby soon. Since September, life has been challenging. Freda had to leave work because of PTSD and a new diagnosis of Lupus, following injuries she suffered from her abuser. Without work, she’s behind on bills, and her car was taken because payments stopped. Now, Freda is struggling without transportation and is worried about her utilities being turned off even though rent is covered for now by a DV program.
