If you know Emmett, you know cuteness. But what you may not know is that earlier this year, Emmett was diagnosed with Acute Necrotizing Encephalitis and has been bravely battling ever since. Because of this, he now faces cortical vision impairment, epilepsy, and spastic hemiplegia cerebral palsy.
Even with these challenges, Emmett is working so hard to make gains toward big milestones—like sitting, crawling, and walking. His determination inspires everyone around him.
To give him the best chance at reaching these goals, his family is pursuing intensive therapy at All Kids Are Perfect in North Carolina. This program, led by Dana, provides specialized support that takes advantage of critical windows of brain plasticity.
The average cost for a two-week intensive, plus travel twice a year, is about $18,000 annually. Covering this would allow Emmett’s family to say yes to these time-sensitive opportunities with DMI therapy—especially important while Emmett is still small enough for certain techniques.
Every gift helps Emmett grow, gain independence, and keep chasing his dreams. Thank you for loving and supporting him on this journey.
