In Support of Emilees DBS

Hi, family and friends! I want to thank you all for being a part of our lives and coming together to support us during this crucial time.

My daughter, Emilee, has been bravely battling Epilepsy and is in urgent need of a medical procedure called Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). We're heading to Houston for three important surgeries in May that she needs for this treatment. The first surgery is on May 6th to place electrodes in her brain, followed by ICU care. The second is on May 13th, where they'll implant the stimulator in her chest, and on May 26th, they will remove the stitches and fully activate the stimulator. We will continue to travel to Houston every three months to ensure her progress and well-being. The financial strain of hotels, food, gas, and hospital parking is overwhelming, but there is nothing more vital than Emilee’s health and safety, especially for her and my grandson.
