Meet Elaine Dionne, a bright and beautiful 15-month-old girl with a smile that lights up every room. Elaine experienced HIE (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy) at birth and has since been navigating life with epilepsy and signs that may lead to a cerebral palsy diagnosis. Despite her challenges, Elaine is full of life, determination, and joy.
Elaine’s care team has recommended intensive physical therapy at All Kids Are Perfect in North Carolina to help her build strength, mobility, and the greatest level of independence possible. She’ll be working with the incredible Dana, a therapist known for helping children like Elaine achieve major breakthroughs.
Unfortunately, insurance does not cover these intensives. We are raising $14,000 to cover two sessions over the next year, plus travel expenses.
💡 Why now? Time is critical. These treatments are only available to children under a certain weight and age, so this window of opportunity is small. Getting Elaine in as soon as possible gives her the best chance to thrive.
We (Elaine’s mom and dad) will be posting regular updates here as Elaine continues her journey.
