My fiancé and I have been actors for a collective 20+ years, carrying the weight of unexpected changes ourselves. However, we’ve spent the last several years trying to navigate the fallout from the pandemic, union strikes, and shifting industry corporate interests. All of which, directly impacting our ability to generate work opportunities - while also managing the increasingly high cost of living in LA.
We’ve reached the point where we need to relocate, back to NYC, where our careers started. And, where we have the best chance of getting back on our feet professionally.
The truth is, asking for help is uncomfortable. But we’re learning that there is strength in community. We’re learning that sometimes the people around us become part of the miracle.
